NOT A QUITER BUT A MOTIVATOR!!!!!!!

This will be my last blog but I would like everyone to know that I did not quit because this was to hard but because my body would not let me continue on. For all of those that don't know I had surgery on Feb.14,2008 to repair a hernia. My doctor gave the OK to start this adventure because he said exercise would help me heal faster. So I did and I gave it my all I worked as hard as I could and I loved every minute of it. Last Wednesday I started having so much pain in my side but I continued to work just as hard as everyone else. After weigh in I went to the doctor to figure out where the pain was coming from. That is when I found out that I had torn a muscle in my side. I was so devastate because he told me that I could not exercise until it was healed. I tried to continue on but the pain was so bad that I could not move without pain medicine. I did not want to leave the Gut Busters but I have to put my health first and that is why I choose to leave. I did not quit because it was to hard but because I had no choice. Thanks so much to Q107.5 and Carson and Kennedy for this great OPPORTUNITY and I love you Gut Busters!!!

Great Workout!

Well it is Thursday and I am so glad to still be around. I find that 4 am gets earlier and earlier everyday but once I get there and see every one's face it is not so bad. We did aerobics today and it was great. Don't get me wrong it is hard but at the same time fun. Weird I know but oh well! I also had such a sweet tooth today but I just had a apple and that made it a little better. But what I would not give for just a little taste of chocolate. :) Well that is all for today folks see ya tomorrow!

I was in the bottom two!

Yes it is true I was in the bottom two and it was not a good feeling. I know that I worked very hard and did everything I was supposed to do but I guess sometimes your body just does not want to let go of the weight. I have to look at it like this on Feb. 14,2008 I weighed 214 pounds and today I weighed 200 pounds so I have lost a total of 14 pounds. That is pretty good from where I am sitting so no more tears. I know that it will get easier and I will just have to work harder the following week. I want to thank all of my team mates for keeping me around for another week so that I have the chance to get a little more weight off. Thanks for all the wonderful words of encouragement that you gave me it meant a lot. I will do better next week if it kills me!! :)

Tomorrow is weigh in!!!

Well tomorrow is the big weigh in which I dread. I have been working really hard but I do not feel as though I have lost as much weight as I did last week. We have all been working hard trying to get those pounds down. Workout today was really fun because we got to change it up a bit. We thought that I could do aerobics all the way through. Two weeks ago I would not have been able to but thanks to my wonderful trainers I can. If I am in the bottom tomorrow I will not be sad because I know that I have worked the hardest that I can. Who ya gonna call? Gut busters!!!

It's Monday Again!

Today was so much better than last Monday because I am getting used to working out. We had a wonderful workout and I find myself being able to finish each exercise. Wednesday is the big weigh in day and just like last week I am still nervous. I hate to be weighed. I know that I did well over the weekend but you never know what can happen. As usual I have get team mates who keep me going and work my butt off. Well I must end because I have to get ready to head to the gym again!!

Great Weekend!!

Sorry I did not post yesterday but it was a busy one. We worked out for 2 hrs on Sat. down by the river and it was amazing. I find that my body is getting used to working out and I am loving the way I am feeling. I have more energy than I ever had and someone even told me that my face was thinning out. Can you believe it? We had Sunday off but I still walked about a mile and felt great doing it. Well that is all I am going to post because I have to get in the bed because 4 am comes early and I have to be ready!

Love this workout!!!!!!

Today is Friday and just let's say that it is getting easier. My soreness is gone and I am feeling so much better already! We did weights and cardio in between and I loved it. I have a great team that I workout with and great trainers that I would not trade for anything!!! The only problem I seem to being having is getting enough to eat. I find that I am getting fuller faster so I do not eat as much as I should. I never thought I would say that but it feels great!!! Tomorrow morning we will work out for 2 hrs straight. You know what I say to that: BRING IT ON!!!! Who you gonna call: GUT BUSTERS!!!! :)
